High Strengh Carbon Graphite Seals Industrial Grade Material
Carbon Graphite is the ideal seal material in every aspect. It is
self-lapping and flexible enough to conform to the mating face,
very hard, self-lubricating and resistant to wear. It is also
lubricated by almost any fluid, so the media being sealed will add
additional lubrication. It is impervious and resistant to most
chemicals.
Lubricity:
Layered structure of graphite material determines its own
lubrication,in the absence of lubrication condition,as compared
with other materials,with the characteristics of small friction
coefficient and low wear.
Heat Resistance:
The temperature enhancement has no effect to their mechanical
strength and sliding characteristics.
Chemical stability:
Apart from some inorganic drugs(strong acid)addition,resistant to
chemical reaction.
Heat shock:
Compared with metallic materials,the graphite products is in small
coefficient of thermal expansion,good thermal conductivity and no
significant change in the rapid temperature changes.
Conducive to lightweight design:
Small density compared with the metallic materials,convenient to
mechanical operation and reduction of vibration and noise
